We recently worked with the Scottish Government on a big online challenge to involve the people of Scotland in navigating out of lockdown.

I wrote a mega long post about it on the Delib blog, which you can find here: https://blog.delib.net/what-happens-when-your-product-is-used-for-a-national-conversation/

It’s mostly about the process we took behind supporting this particular and very big challenge with the aim of sharing:

  1. What happens way down in the long grass when a big public announcement is made and the efforts to support it at the human and software level
  2. Some of the steps we took to try and help our customer make this happen, in case they may be useful for us or for other teams doing similar in the future
  3. A bit about having and valuing strong working relationships

So if you like that kind of thing, then great :)

I should say (and I forgot to mention this in the main post) that this entire project was delivered remotely, both by us at Delib and the Scot Gov team.

I guess this can count as my weeknotes from back at the end April into the start of May because this is basically all I did from 27th April until about May 12th!
